Greenland and Geoscience maps

Geoscientific maps constitute an important element of GEUS’s work in Greenland and includes geological and geophysical maps supplemented by geochemical and spectral data.

These maps provide the fundamental source of information for understanding the structure of the Earth's crust and the processes that have led to the formation of mineral deposits and hydrocarbon fields.

The maps are also important as background information for the development of infrastructure and assessment of geohazards such as landslides.
