GEUS has assisted the Geological Survey and Mineral Resource Board (GSMRB) of Yemen with the production of printed material in the form of magazines and fact sheets for marketing of the mineral resources of Yemen.
The material will be presented at Yemen's stand at the international mining conference PDAC 2011, which will be held from 710 March in Toronto, Canada. This is the third time GEUS assists Yemen at PDAC.
Last year more 27,000 attended the PDAC 2010 and more are expected this year, which makes the event an excellent opportunity for Yemen to attract investments from the international mining industry. The marketing material will be useful also at other regional and international mining exhibitions. The project is financed by the World Bank.
